About Our Inserts
What size are NOTAIRÉ inserts?
All our inserts are A5 (148 x 210mm) and pre-punched with 6 rings to fit any standard A5 ring planner, including Filofax, Moterm, Van der Spek, Gillio, and most other A5 binders on the market.
What paper do you use?
We use a premium uncoated paper that's thick enough to handle most pens without bleeding or ghosting. It's smooth to write on but has enough texture to feel good under a nib. We're particular about paper quality because flimsy pages and ink bleed-through are two things nobody should have to tolerate.
Are your inserts dated or undated?
We offer both. Our monthly overview planner is available in a dated version (currently 2027) and an undated version. Weekly, daily, and all notes inserts are undated too, so you can start whenever you're ready without wasting pages.
Where are your inserts made?
Everything is designed and printed in the UK. We keep production close because it gives us more control over quality and means we can check every batch before it ships.
Can I use fountain pens or markers?
Our paper handles fountain pens, rollerballs, and ballpoints beautifully. Fine-tip markers are fine too. We'd avoid heavy chisel-tip highlighters or Sharpies, but for normal pen use, you won't see bleed-through.
Planner Compatibility
Which planners do your inserts fit?
Any A5 6-ring planner. That includes Filofax (Malden, Original, Domino, and others), Moterm, Van der Spek, Gillio, Kikki.K, and most A5 ring binders on Amazon or Etsy. If it takes A5 6-ring inserts, ours will fit.
Will they fit a Personal or A4 planner?
No. Our inserts are A5 only. Personal size (95 x 171mm) is smaller and A4 is larger, so neither will work. If you're not sure what size your planner is, check the product listing, our size guide, or measure the pages already inside it. A5 is 148 x 210mm.
What ring size do I need?
It depends on how many inserts you want to carry at once. 20mm rings will hold a few months comfortably. 25-30mm rings will hold a full year plus notes. If you're using a daily planner for a full year (183 sheets), you'll want at least 25mm rings and may want to swap out completed months rather than carrying them all at once.
Can I use these without a ring planner?
Technically yes. The inserts are pre-punched but they're still A5 sheets of premium paper. You could use them loose, clip them together, or keep them in a folder. But they're designed for a ring planner, and they look best in one.
Orders
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel, email us at hello@notaire.co.uk as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, so we can't guarantee changes once an order has been packed, but we'll always do our best.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not currently, but every order ships in thoughtful packaging with a thank you card, so it already looks good when it arrives. We're considering gift options for the future.
Will I get an order confirmation?
Yes. You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed, and a second email with tracking information once it's been dispatched.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?

Shipping & Delivery
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders over £30. For orders under £30, delivery options start from £1.99 via InPost lockers and go up to £4.65 for Royal Mail 1st Class. You'll see all available options at checkout.
What are the delivery options?
We offer InPost locker delivery (£1.99 standard / £2.89 express), Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£2.85), Royal Mail Tracked 24 (£3.80), andRoyal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Small Parcel for larger orders. Tracked options include full tracking from dispatch to delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Most UK orders arrive within 2-3 working days. Royal Mail Tracked 24 typically arrives next working day. InPost standard is usually 2-3 days, express is 1-2 days. Orders placed before 1pm on weekdays are dispatched same day where possible.
How are orders packaged?
We package everything carefully to make sure your inserts arrive in perfect condition. All orders ship in a branded mailer box. Every pack is protected so nothing bends, creases, or arrives looking like it's been through a tumble dryer.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but it's on our list. For now, we ship to UK addresses only. Follow us on Instagram @notaire.uk to be the first to know when international shipping launches.
Returns & Refunds
What's your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the inserts are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. To start a return, email us at hello@notaire.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you the details.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We pack everything carefully, but if something arrives damaged or not as expected, email us at hello@notaire.co.uk with a photo and your order number. We'll sort it out quickly, whether that's a replacement or a refund. No long forms, no fuss.
Who pays for return shipping?
For standard returns (change of mind), return shipping is at your cost. If the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong product, we'll cover the return shipping.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive your return, we'll process your refund within 3-5 working days. It may take an additional 3-5 working days to appear on your statement depending on your bank.
